Hi Everyone, we are midway through week one of social distancing!!! Today's activity is a picture walk. You can use any book you have at home that has pictures in it. I have posted a picture below of a storybook. As you can see I have totally covered up the words. Have your students make up the story as they go just by looking at the pictures. This is a great expressive language activity because it focuses on grammar and vocabulary. If your student is working on articulation, make sure they are using their target sounds appropriately when they are telling the story. If you have a low-level AAC user, simply have them name something they see in the picture. If you have a higher level AAC user, make them form the phrases/sentences, "I see girl sewing" etc. If you have any questions or if your kiddo wants me to listen to their story (I'm sure we can figure out a way) just let me know. You can either comment on here or I am constantly checking my e-mail. #OakFlatProud #BSSDproud

Happy Wednesday!
