Hi Everyone, I hope your first day off of school is going well and that everyone is staying healthy. I am planning on posting some activity ideas on this blog on Monday's and Wednesdays, just some ideas of how you can practice some speech and language activities with your kids while they are at home. Today's activity is Miss Webber's version of scattegories!! This is a great activity for kids working on articulation or language. If you have a kid working on artic, pick one of their target sounds (can be found in their IEP, or contact me) and have them come up with words that fit the category that have their sound either at the beginning, middle, or end of the word). If your kid uses AAC have them just name something in that category. If your kid is practicing language skills you can pick the letter or sound!

1. A boys name

2. Something that is cold

3. school supply

4. sports team

5. insect/bug

6. breakfast food

7. vehicle

8. tv show

9. something in the ocean

10. vegetable

Have fun with a family game night!!!!
